Young People

Children are an integral part of the congregation at Greyfriars, Tolbooth & Highland Kirk and we are delighted to welcome visitors or to see them weekly or just once in a while. We have a thriving Crèche (Preschoolers), Sunday School (for Primary aged children) and Youth Group (for Secondary aged children and beyond).

Creche runs every Sunday at the 11 o'clock service and Sunday School runs in term time. The Youth Group meets once a month to allow the teenagers time in church (or to participate in the other areas of their busy lives). The children in Youth Group also participate on the Church’s Strategic Co-ordinating Group that brings together all the varied aspects of the Greyfriars family and are represented on the education group that is developing a new initiative to develop Curriculum for Excellence resources for schools across Scotland that tell the Greyfriars story.

Children are welcomed as important members of the church community. All of our volunteers have been through Disclosure Scotland clearance. If you would like more information then please contact the Administrator.
